Daniel Riefer

Daniel Riefer is an associate partner with McKinsey, based in Munich. He stated his career as a pilot at Lufthansa, and in 2011 conducted world’s first biofuel flight in regular operation. After an MBA he switched careers in 2015 and today supports aviation and travel clients mainly in strategy, sustainability, and operations. In 2020, Daniel joined a 1-year World Economic Forum Fellowship program and together with industry stakeholders conducted sustainability-focused knowledge sprints (SAF feasibility and sustainability, scale-up of power-to-liquid fuels, SAF strategy for India).
Benedikt Kloss
Associate Partner
Benedikt Kloss is an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company in Frankfurt and a member of the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility (MCFM). Since joining the firm as a consultant in 2016, his work is mainly on Future Mobility topics, focusing on Advanced Air Mobility, Micromobility, and Autonomous Driving. Kloss holds a phd in physics from the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz.
